Question : computer shuts off when in SLI mode

not so much an answer, but ive been looking up the same problem all day. often times it is the power supply, but im reading alot of people saying that an upgrade did not solve the problem. Im running a 630w sli ready psu "i know, its probably weak" but i got the dual core 5200, pair of evga 9800gtx+ and 4 gigs of 1066, ive noticed certain quirks with this problem, some games i can run both cards plugged in all day long provided i have sli turned off. this can be useful cuz some games will allow you to use one whole card for physix, like crysis when sli is turned off others like unreal tounament 4 (overkill) will run on windows xp64 with high settings and sli turned off, otherwise comp just dies. i run it on windows 7 64 bit and it runs all settings maxed with no problems, im seeing alot of this "it will run fine on one system and kills it on the other OS crap"there is a chance that your temperature warnings in bios changed up when you installed these cards, if you can turn off or turn up the temp at wich the warning goes off. alot of systems dont actually give you the warning, they just power off. I however do not have that option, so i cant see if it works or not, arg anyway, write me at Chronosdracheaol if you figure this one out

Question : Pokmon Platinum ROM help
I have a Platinum rom (Platinum isn't out till may 22nd, and can't be bothered to spend all that cash) But whenever I have it on and shut my lid it turns the DS off No stupid answers, they will not help, nor get you 10 points. I am using an M3 DS Real Deal games Cartridge.I CANNOT buy the game, it doens't come out till may. Probably an issue with your flashcart; it probably doesn't support standby mode for that game, or perhaps at all. It's not that big a deal to just save the game, as you can do it pretty much anywhere. So I'd recommend you just do that.Also, if you like pokemon that much, then do save up and buy a copy of the game; support the makers of the game. If you don't buy the game, then the company doesn't make profit. If the company doesn't make profit, then it sees a product as a failure and it gets discontinued. Then all the poor workers don't get paid and go home hungry. Economics 101. Money makes the world go 'round.
